Secondly – We aren’t quite as dead as it seems. Just overwhelmed with events here. But things have calmed to a slow rumble so here we are.

Panda Games – Kingless
2 to 6 players work to obtain the highest influence in this snappy 20 minute card game to try to win the crown… for the moment. But beware the machinations of the other players. Your influence may tumble and the crown fall to another. Try not to be the least influential at games end. For ages 14 and up, playing in about 20 minutes.

a level 5 adventure for the DDC RPG. The Blackmoon celebration coincides with a solar eclipse bringing even more fanatics, hermits and witches out to tell fortunes, predict the future and whisper omens. It’s a bit early for the Friday Update… and a bit late for the Mid-week update.
But since we have a number of items in, here is a quick lowdown on what has made it in.

Fireforge Games – Aries of Islam : Berber Infantry
24 multipart Berber Infantry figures, able to built as swordsmen with shields or bowmen.

Worthington Games – Pax Pamir
This game for 1 to 5 players examines the politics and power in nineteenth century Afghanistan. Plays work to create coalitions to create a new state which can withstand the assaults of it’s enemies. Originally released in 2015, this new version adds new components and updated game play with new strategic challenges.  Ages 14 and up. Plays in 45 minutes to 3 hours depending on number of players.

GMT Games – The British Way : Counterinsurgency at the End of Empire
latest of the COIN series games is actually four different games in one covering Palestine 1945-47 where Jewish insurgents attempt to create an independent Jewish state, Malaya 19478-60 as Communists try to wrest the country from the British, Kenya 1952-56 where the Mau Mau try to gain land and freedom and Cyprus 1955-59 as the National Organization of Cypriot Fighters attempt to merge with Greece and escape the rule of Britain. Explore the colonial ‘emergencies’ and responses as each scenario pits the locals against the Empire in a fight for freedom.

GMT Games – Seas of Thunder Global Naval Warfare 1939-1945
2 players compete for naval supremacy during World War 2. Seven different scenarios cover early or late war periods along with a campaign which cover the entire time period. Both ATlantic and Pacific theaters are covered and ship functions as well as task force composition make the difference between success and failure. Battleships are powerful, but vulnerable to submarines and air power. Carriers and can strike targets without warning but poorly executed attacks leave them vulnerable. Submarines can cripple or destroy almost any surface ship, but ASW patrol can send them to the ocean floor. Scenarios range from about 2 hours in length to the campaign which takes around 12. Medium-Low complexity, high solitaire suitability.

WizKids Games – Dungeons & Dragons Onslaught Scenario Kit : The Benefactor
Designed to supplement the Harpers vs Khentarmin core set, this scenario challenges you to clear a pack of Kobolds from a local dungeon. But can the people asking you to do this be trusted? The Cave Defenders pack as well as the Beholder and Bulette miniatures packs are suggested to add to your experience.
