It’s been quite the busy week here at the store. We are gearing up for the Fall Auction and the releases aren’t stopping. So, tonight is the first chance I’ve gotten to do this…
Monster Fight Club – Mister Torgue’s Borderlands Arena of Badassery
a cooperative multiplayer boardgame where players are Vault Hunters facing off against game controlled bandits, monsters and villains. A number of scenarios are presented which can be linked together to form a campaign ultimately bringing you face to face with… the Boss. 1-4 players, ages 14 and up. 60 to 90 minutes play time.
Loke Battle Mats – Calendar of Many Adventures
a 2024 calendar with 12 months of battle maps (12 x 12 map, 1” grid) and adventures (yes an adventure to go with each). As a bonus each month comes with a page showing days, dates, holidays and space to make notes on your appointments along with a QR code to get digital stuff from Loke!
Fantasy Flight Games – Adventures in Rokugan : Tomb of Iuchiban
a Legendof the Five Rings adventure for 5th edition fantasy rules. Introduces Bloodspeakers class and two archetypes, Acolyte Keeper of Names, an 8th level adventure set in the Scorpion Clan controlled City of Lies over a dozen unique dungeon rooms, new enemies, new puzzles and a whole lot more.
Renegade Games – Robo Rally expansion boards
Two new expansion sets : Chaos & Carnage and Wet & Wild. Randomizers, teleporters and new upgrade cards are presented in the Chaos & Carnage set with three double sided game board. Wet & Wild introduces ledges & ramps to create different height levels along with water hazards and new upgrade cards.
Pandasaurus – Sea Salt & Paper
2 to 4 players (ages 8 and up) create an ocean and it’s inhabitants with folded paper elements. Play your cards (which feature the folded paper elements) wisely to score better than your opponents while making sure the contest ends when you need it to. Plays in around half an hour.
Upper Deck – Marvel Legendary – What If…?
a standalone set for Legendary featuring characters, masterminds and villains from the What If…? animated series. Alternate reality heroes go toe to toe with menaces that might be. Includes 350 playable cards with 8 Heroes, 4 Masterminds and 5 villain groups. Incudes a playmat and rules. for 1 to 5 players, taking 30 minutes to an hour or so to play.
Salt & Pepper Games – The Hunt
An asymmetric 2 player duel in which one player leads the British Royal Navy, the other player the German Kriegsmarine. In order for the German side to win, it must stay hidden from the British while sinking five cargo ships. The British player must hunt down and fight the Admiral Graf Spee in a final naval battle, in which case the side that ends up with less damage wins. Designed for ages 14 and up. Plays in 30 to 45 minutes.
Board & Dice – Dark Ages Holy Roman Empire
this historically based civilization building game allows 1-4 players to gather resources, build settlements and fortifications and expand into barbarian lands while creating new technologies and gaining titles to become the ruler of all you survey. Takes place in south and eastern Europe Ages 12 and up. Plays in 2 to 3 hours. Can be combined with Dark Ages Heritage of Charlemagne to expand play into Central Europe and play up to 8 players.
