Friday Night Update (Dec 12)

Hey there all! Rich here with a end of the week update.

First things first – if you have not seen the announcement – Rett’s retirement party has been postponed. Real life has interfered and we shall be rescheduling.

Secondly – we’ve go a whole buncha stuff. Yes, a buncha.
Which is to say more than some, less than a ton and hard to quantify beyond ‘bunch’.

So there are holiday figures from Reaper, new Chibi reaper figures, a bunch of new boardgames, new wargames (whoops) Historical Simulation Games from Vuca Simulations, Star Wars books from Edge Studios that have returned, Arkham Horror Dreamlands supplement, Stranger Things miniatures and well, a whole lot more.
…like the Mr. Potatohead Beholder.

So stop on in and take a look. Tonight, tomorrow, next week when it’s warmer…

Rett’s Retirement Party…

Hi Ho to all y’all out there in internet-land.
Rich here with an event update.

As you may (or may not have given the way social media feeds and spotty providers ) Rett is retiring and we were going to host a shindig in celebration this weekend.

Sadly, that event has to be postponed. Rett will not be able to make it, so we can’t really have the party without him.

It’s Rich here with a round up of releases – and a bit of news.

Officedog Games – There and Back Again
a 1-4 player dice and draw game. Roll dice, draft the best path to deal with goblins, trolls, solve riddles and reclaim the treasure under-the-mountian. Score points in each chapter and score the most overall in order to win. 1-4 players, ages 10 and up. Plays in around 30 minutes.

Osprey Games – The King is Dead (2nd edition)
The King is dead and the English, Scots and Welsh vie for the throne as foreign invaders eye the lands and hope to take advantage of the chaos to seize the island for themselves. This new version refreshes the original game, updates the artwork and adds an asymmetric game mode for advanced play. 2-4 players, ages 14 and up. Play in around 45 minutes.

Osprey Games – Dragon Rampant Second Edition
an updated version of Dragon Rampant – a miniatures agnostic, large scale miniature battle. Core rules have been revised, magic and unit upgrades have been expanded along with sample armies and scenarios. Command anything from an unruly orc warband to an army of the undead or a disciplined army defending it’s home. Rules also cover campaigns , huge creatures and much more.

Fall Auction 2025 Round Up and THANKS!

Thank you everyone who participated in the Games Plus Fall 2025 Auction.

The bidding is over, we are taking a second to get ready for the next phase. We are now trying to get the various items organized for return, the paperwork tallied so we can issue certificates and getting ready for Friday when results are done and folks get their rewards.

Thanks to the folks who came out to preview, participate and purchase from the items that were offered. And to those who have entrusted their items with us to auction as well.

And thank you ever so much for those who lent a hand auctioning, organizing, hauling and lending support to the auction. We could not pull off an event of this magnitude without your help!

FRIDAY (Oct. 10th) will be the beginning of Auction returns and issuing of certificates. Looks like our proof reading staff messed that up. 🙁


We look forward to seeing you all soon – and then again for the spectacle that will be the Spring 2026 Auction (Coming in March)

Sunday, Sunday, Sunday. The Fall 2025 Miniatures Auction is on!

Tomorrow is the Fall 2025 MINIATURES Auction.

Interested in painted miniatures? There will be a bunch. Play Bolt Action?We’ve got several painted forces available in the auction.
Age of Sigmar? Warhammer 40K? There are painted minis for those as well.

…and there are many, many more items available that are assembled, primed, still in the box, pre-made terrain and lost of other things.

Historical miniatures start being exclusively auctioned at 9:30 and will go until we run out or until about 11:00am when we will start mixing it up with everything else.

Warhammer, Age of Sigmar, Legion, Shatterpoint, Wild West Exodus, Leviathans, Silent Death, paints, magazines, sourcebooks, or whatever else has been entered. .

Come on down and see what treasures you can find!

Fall Auction BOARDGAMES are FULL!

Family/Euro Boardgames are FULL. We are taking no more.

However all other types of auction items – Historical/conflict games, Roleplaying Games, Miniatures, Collectible Games – we have space for all those – so BRING’EM on in!



Let us start with further information :
Saturday September 6th will be the first day we pass out paperwork for Auction Sellers. You can come in person and get actual paper, or send us a request at auctioninfo@games-plus.com to request an electronic .pdf (which is fillable). We will require your name and phone number (along with email address) to do so.
It will take a little bit to get a reply. It’s not automated, so we need to take care of your request as we can.

We will begin to TAKE IN auction items on Sunday, September 14 at 8:00am. Yes, eight in the morning on Sunday. As in the past few auctions, we ARE FULL UP on the family/Euro game category but only for that category.

But first – We are CLOSED on July 4th. The Village’s parade closes down the street so… we are taking the day off.
