Monthly Miniatures Monday!

Hello everyone – Rich here.
As some of you may know, we here at Games Plus have made it our mission to find products outside the major companies that might appeal to our customers. And we do go out of our way to track down manufacturers who offer quality merchandise from lines you may not have heard of.

So, here is Monthly Miniatures Monday. A post where I try to show you a range of figures you may not have heard of that I am going to cast some light on.

Next Up – Ral Partha Legacy
This month’s Miniature Monday – Ral Partha Legacy.

So way, way back in the early days of the Table Top Adventure Gaming Hobby (say that three times fast…) Ral Partha put together an amazing stable of sculptors, a bunch of partnerships and became the number one miniatures company in the US. Heck, they even brought pre-slotta Citadel Miniatures into the US – Ral Partha Imports for those of you who recall.

Then a number of years later life happened and Ral Partha was forced to shut down and became Iron Wind Metals. Enter Chaos Wars and the Kickstarter to bring back the original line.

So if you’re looking for well sculpted metal models from some of the industries top sculptors for armies, skirmish games or collecting – here is your chance to buy old school minis brand new today. And as an added bonus Tom Meier has even added to the line with sculpts that were not originally released and has even sculpted new miniatures as well!

First up – Red Box Games.
These are fantasy miniatures with excellent sculpting, fine detail and proper proportions. The minis are well posed and have enough gear to look well equipped, but not cluttered.

The range includes Elves, Dwarves, Medieval Humans, Norse style humans and more.
